Tufted in Unexpected Places

Via

Tufting in the bathroom?

Over the top.

Actually, I love the tub but would have chosen to pair it with a more neutral color palette so it could be the true stand out feature that it is. The toilet seats... not so much.

These bathrooms tell a different story.
More my style.

This chair was so outstanding, I hardly recognized it was in a bathroom.

And finally...

Loving the bench but the chevron tiled floor is running a close second.

Thank you for coming with me on this little tufting journey.  The next time you see a tufted piece, maybe you'll really see it.

  1. I'm surprised you could find so many photos. I don't think I'd like tufting in the bathroom either.

  3. Hello my friend,
These are such scrumptious bathrooms! I could live with all, but the gold one. Just too much for me that one. These last few are lovely!

  4. The tub is so pretty! It's a little over the top for me, but I can appreciate it in someone else's home. Those toilet seats, however, not so much. You always find such amazing pics. Thanks for sharing.

  5. No to the tufted toilet seat--unattractive and, I would think, unsanitary. However, that last photo would put me at the ocean's side and I love it!

  6. Wow... not so sure about the bathroom tufting. Tufting has its place and the bathroom is not one of them. Love the rest.

  7. Wow, that bench in the last image is outstanding. I love how the skirt just falls off to the ground instead of being tucked in. The tufted toilet seats, yuck. The tufted tub, pretty cool!

  8. Who knew there would be so much tufting going on in a bathroom?! Ya, the toilet seats went just a little too far, made me laugh though.

  9. Oh, I didn't notice at first how that one crystal sparkled on the toilet seat. Kinda like the cheesy guys big toothed grin on TV. Too funny!

  10. That first picture of the bathtub, so beautiful! And have I mentioned, that our bathroom needs re done BIG TIME. And the last picture, sigh! The tufting is gorgeous. Have a great day!

  11. Benches, lounges, chairs... all are great for me, but the tub and toilets, not at all. Can you imagine cleaning the tufting on any of those bathroom items. In my house I have a very large square tufted (18-inch high) ottoman which serves as a foot-rest, play table, coctail server (with large tray), and a place for small children to lounge. It's much softer in the room than a coffee table.

    Love this series on tufts!

  22. Very interesting series! I think one would need full-time bathroom cleaning staff for the bath tufting. LOL! Gorgeous tufting, though.

  24. I'm all for tufting, but in a bathroom? My first thought was.... how would you clean it!

  25. Now those are really some blinged out toilet seats! Much as I adore bling and tufting, I just couldn't go for that! But the tufted tub is kinda doing it for me!
