Dream With B

Via
My favorite fall color is brown.
Such a rich color.

Even though I would tire of it during the spring and summer months, it sure brings warmth for fall and winter.

Reminds me of a cup of velvet brown coffee...

  1. What a gorgeous collection you made~
Love that mock croc embossed wallpaper.
Want to use that somewhere but with all the cedar paneling in my house
I really can't add any more brown to the walls!
(Maybe my next home....probably an apt!)

    Great post.
    :)

  3. Nice..
but browns just depress this Florida Mermaid,,
having lived the New England Life three full years.
and currently living in colorful Colorado for twice that long..
Autumn just brings out the softer yet warmer and heavier comforters and throws..
all in darker but richer beachy colors..
inspired by by the sand, the sea and her gifted treasures from beneath her depths...
Yet nothing beats the combination of a roaring fire on a cold wintery day,a cozy chair,a good book, soft comfy slippers.. and Hot Tea..
    warmest hugs,,

  8. The color brown is such a bold color, yet paired with other colors such as white, it gives a room warmth and is very inviting! I can see why you love it...especially since it blends well with this season? Hugs

  10. The ONLY time of year I could do brown would be now, in autumn, and it would have to be late autumn, and then when Christmas season comes I would be beside myself not knowing how to decorate a thing!!

  11. I love deep, rich colors. I love the way that brown envelops you. Maybe it's because it's so cold outside, but I'm loving these images. Thanks for sharing.

  12. Great post, B. I love brown too. We painted the woodwork chocolate brown in the master bedroom of our first home back in the mid 70s. I think everyone thought we were crazy, but I loved the look. ;-)

  13. I really love warm browns too...big deep brown leather chairs and gorgeous stained wood furniture (that Ralph Lauren look) and coffee with cream painted walls. The color seems to just wrap you up in a hug!
    Thanks Tammy!

  14. I never used to think of brown as a versatile color but there is so much you can do with it and use with it! Lovely photos you've collected!

  15. Hello my sweet friend,
I love brown decor, I couldn't live in it, well, one room in my house perhaps, but I love the masculine feel of them. They do look very fallish, too.
All of the images today are beautiful, especially the 3rd one, and the 5th and 6th ones.
    Have a good weekend,
    Love and hugs, Cindy
