An entrance doesn't have to be grand to be grand. Make sense?
I'm saying it doesn't have to be large to look great.
Here's some of my Pinterest favs.
Mirrors, light fixtures and artwork can make a small space look more grand.
Bold graphics in black and white are another way to make a grand statement.
Pops of color are very grand.
I still like to dream of grand grand foyers too.
I am currently working on my own little foyer which I'll show you next week.
Life is grand.

These are gorgeous! I was just thinking about this this morning. We don't have a grand or even great entrance but was trying to think of things. I can't wait to see what you are up to. :)

thanks for some great inspiration! We're in the middle of decorating our own entrance and are searching for ideas. Sally @ Enlightenment for the sleepy x
ReplyDeleteThese are all gorgeous. I think the first one is my fave.
ReplyDeleteThese are just beautiful!! I wish I had a foyer here to decorate, the front door opens right into the living room! We do have one at the lake and it is pretty empty. These pictures are so inspiring! Thanks!

Gorgeous, I would love an entrance, but you walk right into my living room. These are all stunning. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteThese are such pretty entrance ways, thanks for sharing!

I could see why you would love these, Tammy. I love them all, but that turquoise table is calling my name. ;) Can't wait to see what you do with your foyer.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend.
Much love!
They are all quite beautiful however, I love love the forth one with the large mirror and the one with the black staircase...I think they are stunning...you know, that Wow factor! Thanks for the share!

LOVELY! these pictures make me want to redo my front entrance. Love the black chests and the woodwork in these shots...ok, so what is the sideways panelling called? Is there a name for it? I just love it.
ReplyDeleteYes I struggle with my foyerless house...a hall tree and welcome to my stair case! But I will be working on it~nice inspiration.
ReplyDeleteThe one stair case reminds me of Gone With The Wind...beautiful.

Oh my gosh this is a little freaky! I'm starting my foyer I think next week. Getting rid of the red wallpaper! I loved all these inspiration pics. I can't decide if I should paint stripes or do some sort of stencil. Looking forward to seeing yours. Happy Weekend Tammy!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful. Thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS images! The first one is my favorite!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful entrance ways. You walk in my door and you are in the living room. I do have a little table and mirror.....Oh, to have a grand entrance way!

Don't have an entrance in our home, but I enjoyed seeing your pins. I like the simplicity of the 3rd one because I love the horizontal shiplap siding. Can't wait to see what you are doing to yours.
ReplyDeleteI love a pretty entrance way, mine is small, too small for even a table. But I have the word "Home" on the wall and it has two pretty doors. Two chairs and a row of old hooks are the only embellishments it needs.
ReplyDeleteYour images are lovely, so grand! I love them all!
Hugs, Cindy
I liked the second one with wallpaper...they are all nice.
ReplyDeleteGrand indeed...I love them all!!! Can't wait to see what you are up to in your foyer! :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pins! I adore the wall sized mirror :)
ReplyDeleteLike the grand entrance tour! I think it's nice to have a center table if there is enough room. But would it end up being a catch all? Looking forward to seeing what you do with your "little foyer."
ReplyDeleteSeriously....so much inspiration....I hopped right over to follow you on pintrest (and then proceeded to pin and pin and pin :)

They are all just lovely, I could take something from each image. Love that yellow stool. Thanks for sharing. Cheers SpecialK XoXo
ReplyDeleteSo many lovely choices.. Looking forward to seeing what you choose..
ReplyDeleteGod bless..
These are all gorgeous. Hard to pick a favorite. An entry, big or small makes a statement. Eager to see what you are working on. ~ sarah
ReplyDeleteOne of the entries reminds me of my friends' house. I wonder if she copied it. I love the Farrow & Ball one. Their wall paper is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI agree that entrance don't have to be large to make a great first impression.
