Her backyard is just as pretty. Be sure to look at the transformations. I would have never guessed this porch looked any other way.
I think the doors on a house are its lipstick, shutters are eye lashes and window boxes are eye liner. They take something pretty and make it prettier.
ReplyDeleteOur new house has not a single flower or perennial plant in the yard. I can't wait to get out this spring/summer and start landscaping and creating our garden. These pics sure give me great inspiration! so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing the new house that you purchase!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day. :)
Wow! You know flowers get me excited! I will be sure to go over and check out that house for sure. Thank you for the inspiration. How are your plans for the big move going?
ReplyDeleteWOW now that's inspiration!!
ReplyDeleteI love porches as well. We bought a 4 level back split, and we're not on a hill! So, don't ask me why the builder of this house built a 4 level back split! Anyway, as long as we stay here, we are planning on building a platform/deck/veranda (whatever you want to call it), from our front door. We are also considering building a little deck off of our master bedroom upstairs. So, I'm with ya', girl!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful inspiration pics! I've been itching to get outside and dig around, but I know that planting in March in upstate NY is a recipe for disaster. Even though it's been 70s we're likely to still catch one last frost.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to see your new house and all you'll do with it.
Wonderful inspirations. Be sure to show us what you do!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo's! I fell in immediate love with the first one! WOW! They all make me want to go wild with flowers!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
Here in Canada it seems like a long while before we have a lot of flowering plants.. The pics are beautiful... Another couples of months.. smile..

ReplyDeleteJust dropping by to say, THANKS for featuring my house on your blog! I had always dreamed of having a big ole white farm house with red doors...I finally have it and could not be happier. I am headed to prowl around your great blog!!

Good luck with your planters. Whatever you do will be beautiful I'm sure. Your inspiration pics make me want to get my pots out and start planting...it's too early here though so I need to wait. Hope you are having a great weekend...Ann

I have a very small porch that I just enjoyed a springtime makeover. We'll see how long it lasts in the AZ heat. :)
ReplyDeleteNow that spring is here, I've got to do something with my outside! I love the look of a pretty garden, but I hate the work. lol!
ReplyDeleteThis makes me REALLY want to spruce up my garden. It does give a welcoming presence.
ReplyDeleteHello dear Tammy,
ReplyDeleteYour images are all gorgeous, I love to see a house nicely decorated with flowers on the porch and walkway. Unfortunately, I just can't seem to do it at my house. I will try again this year, though, one of these days I will get it right!
Hugs, Cindy
I love these pictures, and that front curb appeal is so important to me too, it just says so much! :D
ReplyDeleteYou are a gem of a photographer. Lovely shots each and everyone!!!

ReplyDeleteI could look at thee pictures all day...thanks!!
ReplyDeleteYou've found some real WOWees! That's a lot of maintenance required. And Jodie Foster's home - can't say that I've seen anything like it on a house. :)
ReplyDeleteI dunno if anyone has told you this before but your red doors are amazingly beautiful. I would love to have your doors on my home.
