Geometry 101: Herringbone

Via
This is a "Dream With B" series on geometric patterns. Pamela of Mercantile Muse inspired me with her post yesterday. She got me to thinking how much I love geometric patterns.

  2. I love herringbone! It's one of my favorite patterns. I have a pair of herringbone pumps with patent leather toes that always make me strut when I wear them.

    Beautiful images! Thanks for sharing.

  3. Hello dear Tammy,
The herring bone is such a classic pattern. It can be very modern looking or look old and anique.
I have seen a lot of pillows in that pattern, but that's about all, I enjoyed seeing the floors.

  4. Those subway tiles on an angle--haven't seen much of that. I am so delighted that we chose to put our tiles on the floor and the backsplash (kitchen) at diagonal...makes such a difference. Fun post!

  7. Love your herringbone pics. I love chevron fabric right now and it reminds me of herringbone. Hope all is well with you. Any bites on your house? I know you are dealing with so much...and I appreciate that you reached out to me when I was away from my blog. You are a dear, true friend. Let me know how you are when you have time!

    Always good to visit, Tammy.
I'm currently taking a break from writing, but I now share my new page with my daughter so she's filling in a few days while I still visit my favorite neighbors.
Hope you're enjoying a beautiful spring.
    Much love,
    Marcia
