Geometry 102- Quatrefoil

Drape Style
Another geometric pattern.
Quatrefoil, meaning 4 leaves.

I was happy to find my own quatrefoil pattern in a rug for my foyer.
I wouldn't mind having an entire floor of it.

Look what Courtney from A Little Glass Box created.
Simply fabulous!

I'm so far behind on commenting. Please be patient as I catch up with everyone. Last week we had a delightful surprise when my aunt, uncle, cousin and her hubby came and visited for a couple of days while traveling the East Coast on vacation. It was a wonderful two days of story telling, reminiscing and relaxing. Isn't it nice to let everything go and just be with the people you love?

  1. I love quatrefoil patterns. You really have some great photos. I have been thinking about using quatrefoil fabric on the sink skirt in my laundry room...we'll see! (I am behind on blog visits too...so little time!) Have a great day!

  7. I love all those pretty quatrefoil images, although I don't believe I own anything with this pattern. Hmmm...I might need to get on that right away. :D

  8. This is my vision for my half bath off my kitchen. Right now it's argyle wallpaper with a golfer border. Don't laugh...I'm not kidding. Probably a project for this summer. Glad you had fun with your family. No one deserves it more. Have a good week and DO NOT worry about the commenting!

  14. It seems I learn something new every time I visit! I've probably seen quatrefoil, but surely didn't know its name.

It's looks great in your foyer.

I also like the picture of the bedroom featuring it on the headboard.

  15. I'm so glad you had company and yes, it is very nice just to forget the world around you and just enjoy loved ones.
Your foyer rug is lovely, I adore the two chairs that you have in there, too.
Geometric patterns are nice, I've never used them, though. Perhaps because they fit in with my cottage decor real well. But, I saw a gorgeous yellow hounds tooth lamp shade on a blog yesterday that would fit in my home very well.
Enjoy the rest of your week.
    Love and hugs, Cindy

  19. It's frustrating when you find the rug of your dreams and you want that pattern to be your carpet but that pattern didn't exist. This happens to me all the time.
