Do you have any tufted pieces in your home? It's amazing how we can overlook a certain design element or take it for granted. I counted 5 pieces in my home. But I'd gladly add any of these.
Ahhhhhh! That second photo of the white chair and ottoman just took my breath away when I saw it, I don't have any tuffted pieces in my home but I now will be on the look out for some:) Thanks for sharing and I'll be sure to be back tomorrow!
I have a thing for tufted furniture and nail head trim. I decided to reupholster a chair instead of slip covering it so I wouldn't lose the tufts. All of the pictures you shared are fabulous.
You had me at tufted!! I've been busy adding tufted to my bedroom. So funny you posted this because I just posted tufted side pieces to my new mirror! Love the tufted furniture in your pictures!
I love, love, love the look of tufting. But.....if you live in a dust-bowl (aka the desert), all those indentations are like magnets for the dust. I'm not kidding; we live in a very tight, well insulated house, but the dust will find a way inside. I'm going to do some tufting on some pillows, anyway, & see how that goes. I love your button collection. White or cream ones are just so gorgeous to look at. I do use lots of buttons in my scrapbooking & card-making ventures. They add so much interest. CAS
I just landed on your blog and I must say I currently have 3 tufted pieces in my home. If I could have more...I would. Great blog. I am your newest follower.
Oh my! I'm afraid I'm tufted-less! Your picks today are even better than yesterdays. The blue crushed velvet is yum-my. Reminds me of my previous favorite blue ottoman from the movie set of The Holiday, in Kate Winslet's character's house. Susanne.
I love love love tufting. I want a huge tufted ottoman. I once had a tufted toilet seat cover that I made. I thought it was very chic at the time. Ha! It wasn't but I thought it was. I had made a shower curtain and window curtain for the bathroom out of Ralph Lauren sheets and had enough left over to make the tufted toilet seat cover. I wondered why no one had done it before. Well...because toilet seat covers are tacky. Although, I remember a time when every time I moved to a new apartment...first thing I bought was a new toilet seat cover and matching rug that went around the toilet. My Mom always had them...still does...so I thought I must.
Hi! The tufted chair I would definitely want to sink into is the second one with the ottoman! The first one is such a beautiful blue! Have a happy Wednesday! *Maria
I really love tufted pieces. The lt. blue ottoman is my fav of all! I had tufted recliners in our last house but sold them when we moved ~ still miss them!
So happy to have you come by for a visit today! Please stop by anytime!

Oh, I could so use some of those pieces for my home! It would mean that much less furniture that needs "tweaked".

ReplyDeleteI have always wanted a giant tufted cocktail ottoman for my home, on which I would put a big pretty tray and serve coffee/drinks to all my friends. :)
