A Time to Plant

Via
Tis the season to plant!

"Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously." II Corinthians 9:6 NIV

On Friday, the Doc walked in the room as I was notifying the winner of the E.W. McCall giveaway.  I explained to him how it was my small way to help Lois, the sweet lady who owns E.W.

No sooner than I hit send, an email appeared from Melanie at My Sweet Savannah saying I won her giveaway!  It was more than double the amount of my giveaway. That had to be the quickest returned blessing I've ever received! The timing was amazing. Glad Doc was there to witness what I call a "God moment."
We will order his graduation party invitations from this wonderful company, Minted. Woo hoo! They have beautiful stationery.

I planted some petunias in my window boxes this weekend. I want to add more plants for a variety and lush look like the ones above. This is a start.

Can't wait for my lilies to start blooming!

I also refilled my bird feeder.  I kept noticing how fast the seeds were disappearing. We gathered around the window thinking we'd see a flock of birds any moment.
Surprise! Look who is having a field day with the bird seed!

Guess it's his time of reaping.

"Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?" Matthew 6:26 NIV

Tammy, those Scriptures are always timely, aren't they? Such beautiful reminders that our choices and actions do in fact matter -- and that God has our very best interest at heart. Cute squirrel, even if he is a bad boy!

Those window boxes are so lovely. I wish I had more of a green thumb. I am just horrible when it comes to outdoor landscaping. Congratulations on winning a giveaway! That's always a fun surprise!

I love the window box inspiration. I will be plant my three again real soon and I desperately need inspiration. They are all on the north-west side of my house where it tends to stay pretty cool and wet. And two of them never see the sun's rays.
Congratulations of a win!!! So fun, I know!
Love and hugs, Cindy

Those window boxes are gorgeous!! My husband built a feeder in our back yard and we had to put a cone on the pole to stop the squirrels from getting all the seed. Now they hang out at the bottom and eat up all the left overs.

Hi, Tammy! Congratulations! I would love to plant but it's still a bit too early for us. But I do have some petunias that made it through the winter! I am amazed! It's so nice to see at least one planter with something live in it! LOL! Your window box is going to be beautiful. Love the one full of greens and whites you featured. So pretty!
