Living Room Reveal

Done. After 3 months of unpacking and sorting, I'm finally able to show my living room. It's 98% complete.

If we stay in the house, the ceiling fan and wall speakers will be first to go. I took the advice of the majority and kept the mantel and doors white for resell purposes. I still haven't hung window treatments because I can't decide whether to go neutral or punch it up with red.  I have some gorgeous red on red cheetah print fabric but with the door being the only outdoor light source, it may be too dark.

Shopping for antlers to go over that mirror.

The equestrian style decor in this room was in a den/study in one of my former houses.  I pulled out my 15 year old fox hunt oil painting and for very little money changed things up a bit.

Details and sources coming in a future post.

I'm delighted to attend these parties:
Mod Mix Monday at Mod Vintage Life
Nifty Thrifty Tuesday at Coastal Charm
Wow Us Wednesday at Savvy Southern Style
Open House at No Minimalist Here

This is h=just beautiful, Tammie! it looks very warm and welcoming. I love the pops of red and the way you have accessorized! You should be a designer...your living room looks like something out of a magazine!

Oh, more pictures, please. This is wonderful. Show us the gallery over the sofa. I love the hunt scene of course. I get almost all my antlers from an antique dealer in Austria. Good prices on the antlers and then there is the shipping fee, but his plaques are real vintage and hand carved wood. That cheetah fabric sounds wonderful. Can you just hang a panel on each side of the door and add roman shades that can be pulled up on the windows of the doors?

It's stunningly gorgeous and oh so elegant! (I want a ceiling fan for my dining room. What I have in there is hideous enough, but I sure do get hot.)

Dear Tammy,

Everything looks great.

I love the black in the white room.

Why don't you try gold window treatments if you're unsure about whether you want red?

Enjoy nestling around your fireplace.

Best,

CBO

Your room is beautiful, and I love how neutral everything is with just pops of red. It looks like you don't need window coverings, but I would go with neutrals because I love the feel of the room now.

Hi Tammy! I just saw your feature on Savvy Southern Style. This room looks great! I see you decided to keep the mantel white; and I love all of your equestrian decor. Very pretty!

I pinned your equestrian print, bench, boots, mirror shot. Here in Lexington, KY, the horse capital of the world, we love all things horse. I just had a decorator help me do a little equestrian area in our upstairs hall. I like your idea with the bench better than what we did with our bench, and I have everything to make the changes. Thanks!
