Cleverness
Yesterday, I was reviewing the alphabet with my preschooler and made up a little song. His immediate response was, "Mom, you are so clever." It surprised me to hear him use the word "clever" in context. I love when that happens.
And I love to be surprised with the cleverness of others. Just like these adorable lights by reclaimedlighting.com I first saw them on the BHG web site.
So of course, I had to hop over to the lighting source to check them out. They are not cheap. Surely a clever person could copy the idea.
Speaking of clever, there's one such lady who is making a difference for new bloggers. The sweet Debbie at Debiedoo's Blogging and Babbling has a linky party up for newbies. I plan to visit all of the party goers.
I'm so honored to have reached 300 followers! In celebration, my 300th follower will be receiving a little gift. It's Karryann from Gracefully Vintage. Her blog and shoppe live up to that sweet name. Go see for yourself.
Thankful to have so many clever friends. You inspire me.

Nothing can beat the compliments of our children. It makes our hearts big.
You, my dear are so clever and how smart of your young child to recognize this in his momma...
Love those Ball-jar lights and I would say that as clever as you are that you could whip up enough to light your kitchen or a covered patio.
Congrats on your 301(!) followers.
Bisous,
G

Hi Tammy!
I love the lights. I think I am going to have to play around and see what I can do as far as "knocking off" these fun lights! And don't ya just love when the little one makes a statement like that just out of the blue? Gives you an instant smile!
Such a beautiful blog! And such a clever lighting idea to share, even I could maybe do this. Thank you for stopping in and your lovely comment. XO

I love hearing about your preschooler's comments. He is amazing! And what cute light fixtures and clever ideas you have posted here. Love it!
I've been eyeballing those pendant lights for some time now, and thought I could use some Kerr jars I have on hand...but the bluish tint of the Ball jars is so much richer. THEN, I saw on the Early Show today some lamps that were made out of roof turbines...soooo cool!
shut the stinkin' door those mason jar pendants are wowzah!!! i agree some clever blogger will figure a cheaper way. let me know if you do - i so want four of those!
What a clever little one you have! I just love when vocabulary and usage fall into place for kids. Such a milestone! I hope you'll stop by if you get a chance. I just posted my BEST tablescape ever.
Love those lights!! They are adorable. You are so clever. He only spoke the truth.
