Me and Old Blue

Via

Old blue, navy blue that is, has always been a favorite of mine. I haven't been so bold to paint with it until recently. I took the plunge and painted our dining room walls.  Now that Christmas decor is away and we are finding our way back into a routine, I'll show you the results next week. In the mean time, here are some photos which have inspired me. Via Pinterest, of course.

Upon my search of navy, I found this wonderful blog, HOUSEography.  Isn't her bathroom amazing?
I'll never know how she managed to stencil the ceiling so perfectly but I love it. She has done an amazing job on her whole house. Go check it out.

Hope you have a bow wrapped weekend!

Navy has always been my favorite color. My dining room's first color was navy and I loved it until a few years ago and just needed to change it. You know I am all about change. It had stayed blue for 13 years so that was long enough. My husband did not want me to change that room, but he loved it changed, too. Can't wait to see yours.

Love blue! We have a room painted blue. It's not navy but a rag finish of deep blues. It's a great room. I need to show it in a post. Looking forward to seeing your blue room. ~ Sarah

I've always been a big fan of Navy blue but never had the courage to use it in my home. That's a color that I'm kind of afraid of, yet love it anyway and love all your inspiration photos. Oh, drooling here and can't wait to see your next post.

Hi Tammy,
I love Navy Blue, I especially love to wear it. I look forward to seeing your dining room, I'm sure it's beautiful. Navy, like black, is a very dramatic color.
Hugs, Cindy

I absolutely adore blue and white. One of the best color combos ever. My MIL has always had a blue and white kitchen no matter the home or when it was remodeled. My closet is full of blue too.
