Animal Print Will Be Around Forever

I don't think animal print is going anywhere, do you?  It makes a statement in a room.  Not overdone, of course, but a hint here and there adds pizazz to any room.  My newest, absolute favorite is a quartz surface with a textured look in croc. I probably wouldn't use it on an entire kitchen, but a guest bath counter top would look snazzy. Here it is on a wall-

Speaking of baths, I like the way designer Joe Minton mixes in a little "wild thing" in his design.

Here's a larger living space that is mostly white but definitely not boring when zebra prints are added.

Forget what I said about overdoing it.  I don't think Mary McDonald needs our permission..

Anyway you slice it, animal print is delicious!

Animal print is a timeless classic! A neighbor of mine wanted to put a leopard print runner up her front stairs but her decorator talked her out of it saying "animal print is on it's way out." I disagreed but she went with the professional decorator. That was 13 years ago!!! Bahahahahahah..........

Hello my sweet friend,
Yummy! You are so right, I love animal prints, they are classic and I'm so glad. The colors are neutral and so warm that they can be used anywhere, anytime of the year. I have a furry animal print throw that I love to curl up under when I read. I love the images that you used today and I adore your chair with the Zebra pillow, lovely!
(It's so good to see you getting back to normal postings, I have missed them so much.)
Love and hugs, Cindy

I love to look at animal print in other homes but I wouldn't care for any in mine. Don't know why- maybe my mother's leopard skin coat she wore for years and years....lol....

I love animal print but it really doesn't go in my home. I love it in others and I really like your pillow!

Me again, I was just over at Beach Bungalow 8 and what is today's post about? A staircase carpeted in none other than LEOPARD print. How fun is that!?

The animal prints are stunning. The cake, however, takes it!
Beautiful.

You are so right about animal prints. I haven't got any in our home, though, because we are a bit more floral..well I am anyway. I am sure if hubby was decorating we would be living in a sterile apartment with white walls and no furniture!

Hope your week has been wonderful and that your weekend is restful.

Blessings and best wishes always,
Natasha.

Very interesting. I have had a few animal prints in the past on pillows and shirts. You really have a lovely blog Tammy. Blessings.

Right now we have an "animal print" that moves about--sometimes draped on a bed pillow, sometimes curled up on a rug. I'm sure you've guessed that the "print" is black spots on a white background!!

Loved looking at your post this morning--right down to the cake.

Best,
Bonnie

I'm not really an animal print fan but, at the same time, I like the way it looks. Go figure! LOL BTW, the picture of the bride and the three bridesmaids? All 4 of them are our daughters! Thanks for following me! I'm following you back now!

This is my first time here and I hope you don't mind me staying for a while! :-) I'm loving your blog!

I've just started a new blog, if you could go take a look I would be really happy! And today I've posted about a $68 mil house that OPRAH WINFREY might buy soon.

Thank you!

Tammy, after a lot of research and listening to my blogger friends who are into photography, I decided on a Canon Rebel T1i. I decided to purchase it from a local camera shop--even though it cost more--because I wanted to support them and thought they'd support me. However, they seemed completely disinterested when I went in (and they weren't busy). Little did they know that I planned to spend a good chunk of change!! I ended up ordering it from Costco. It came with two lenses and a nice camera case. I'm slowly getting acquainted with it and feel I made a good choice.

Best,
Bonnie

I hope animal print is around to stay! I love it! As a matter of fact, I am getting ready to redo my daughters bedroom with it (in a subtle way, not a zoo way). :)
