Could it be another Ann-Marie? Yes! And another beautiful home! I love new blogs. Seek them out actually. So when I saw the name "Ann-Marie" yet again, I knew her blog had to be lovely. Then lucky for me, I also found Alison. Their blogs are featured all over blog land and I'm joining in.
Ann-Marie is the author of Brambly Home and Garden. She and her husband love the English style. They are designers and landscapers who really know how to team up to create a beautiful home and breathtaking gardens.
Isn't that just the dreamiest? Hop on over there to see more beauty.
Alison is the author of The Polohouse. When I saw polo, silver, farmhouse and tartan plaid all in one header, I was all over it. Her lovely home lives up to its name.
Alison and her family live in a former polo barn and stable that was converted into a house. She is a designer and antique dealer.
Her kitchen is to die for. The whole house is over the top charming! Swing by to be swooned.
Thank you Ann-marie and Alison for gracing the pages of Beatrice Banks with your stunning homes. For those who pay a visit, tell them B sent you.
And this my friends, is why I blog. It's like looking at magazines, only better because it doesn't cost a thing!
Happy Blogging!

I love these opics, esecially the first one wth the red door which matches the flowering trees hmmm, but what a great idea for the boots as an umbrella stand:)
hi Tammy!
So nice to meet you and your blog! Thank you for your sweet comment today.
I just met both Ann-Marie and Alison this week myself! I was blown away by the beauty of both of these amazing English-inspired homes! Absolutely beautiful homes!
fondly,
joan
Those homes were beautiful. Loved the red door on the first one. We're, correction, I mean I'm trying to figure out what color to side our house, and I'd like to incorporate a red door into the mix.
Another thing I noticed about that first kitchen was the pictures hung in the backsplash area. I've never seen that done before. It is giving me ideas.
Gorgeous! I just love those cheque floors!
Wonderful pics...I especially love the kitchens!!!
Oh My Gosh Sweetie...
You had me at the farm apron sink. Oh that is TDF. I have so wanted one for the longest time. Love the cupboards as well. That little awning on the front of the house, upper window, red of course I LOVED that one. Oh my. Even appeared to be a red door. A dream come true. How lovely and SO country.
The BIG old tree in the backyard by the wicker furniture was so elegant. I could sit there all day just taking in the sun and the beauty.
Oh sweetie thank you so much for sharing. I will definitely pop over and say hello. Hope you had a beautiful Monday. Many hugs and much love, Sherry
What beautiful homes! The top kitchen is just dreamy!
Be-u-ti-ful! Thanks for all the great inspiring spaces!
Oh thanks for the fun links. I'll take the top pictured kitchen any day over the others--just my style!
Be still my heart!
I found a goldmine this weekend when I discovered your blog! What incredible homes! I don't think if I owned either I could ever leave home! One thing for certain to me is how very much hardwood floors make the home! Absolutely beautiful again! Thank you-thank you!! Lori
That is exactly how I described blogs to my husband - like living magazines! They don't cost and they offer all of their information, recipes, tutorials, patterns, etc. for FREE! Blogging is wonderful.
What lovely homes and lovely and unique kitchens.
I just discovered Brambly Home and Garden on the weekend. It is a wonderfully beautiful blog and I have looked through every single post!
I so agree with you about blogging too. How lucky we are to have met such sharing and tech savvy people!
Best wishes always,
Natasha.
