The Artists on B List

Via
Have you ever wondered what makes a person an artist?  Like how does the brain work with the hands to create art?  My mind can think of a lot of things but being able to create it with my hands is another story.
Via
I'm thinking you either have it or you don't.
In my opinion, these 3 ladies being featured today, "have it."
(Sorry it has taken me so long to get to the B List, ladies.  And to those still waiting, thanks for your patience.)

First is Amy of Maison Decor
I know most of you already follow her. Don't you enjoy reading her blog?
She's been painting a lot of furniture lately and giving us great how-to tips.
She's an interior designer,
 draws sketches,
and designs window treatments.

Amy has great talent and is a genuinely sweet person!

Next up is Jana from Collected Treasures.  She defines herself as a true romantic and old soul.  She owns an antique shoppe where she transforms the expected into the unexpected with her artistic ability.

Look at these beautiful handbags she made.

She is quite the seamstress.
She pays attention to details.

Go visit Jana.  She is such a gracious lady.

Then there is Carol from Carol Schiff Studio.  Carol is an incredible artistJust look at her work.

Aren't those amazing?  Go check out more of her art.  Carol is one of the nicest artists you'll ever meet.

There you have it.  Makes me want to pull out a paintbrush!  Think I'll wait until the kids come home so we can do it together.  That way no one will know which one is mine!

Oh MY!!!!! This was a nice surprise~I am just about speechless reading this! Wow!... well I am happy to be recognized by you Tammy in this category of artist and making it to the B list.
I am reading your post and then I see... my coffee table! You know, I did feel inspired when I created that. No plan in mind except to use a stencil and some gold leaf. For me, creative thinking does just happen. I wish other things like sense of direction happened naturally, but they don't. I can't wait to check out your other picks on the list, and again, thank you my dear!

Hi Tammy!

Great idea to feature these talented women. I'm always amazed at how many artistic people there are in the world.
I had to giggle at the waiting for the kids to paint with you comment. My 6 year old can color better than me. Sad :)
I'll have to take a peek at these blogs later tonight!
Have a good one! :D

I think that artists a lot of times are more emotionally sensitive. At least that has been my experience. I think that being a artist usually means you feel more emotions. I think that emotions leads to a lot of beautiful art.
