Hope all of you are enjoying the summer! Thanks for the comments and emails while I was on vacation.
Here's an update-
We have moved into a small apartment. My youngest thought we were in a hotel a few days until he realized there was no maid service. It has been an adjustment to say the least. However, downsizing is not so bad. We do miss our house though. (I'm currently listening to my upstairs neighbor exercise, hoping the ceiling doesn't fall in.)

Don't ask me why it returns. It was really supposed to be put to rest when I was 20 and naive. But I'm certainly not complaining. Life is far better than it was then.
Through all of this, I'm learning that temporary really is a way of life. Even when you are settled, it's just temporary. Live in the moment because tomorrow it may change.
My current moment status is- no free time. It will surely change when the dust settles and routines are established. I just can't say when.
So, it's goodbye for now my friends. Or more like, see you later...

I have been rather MIA myself lately. Too many loose ends that needed tied up. I was feeling rather frazzled. Then we had to open up our cottage, went to Boston and area for a few days...
I wish you the best of success in your endeavors! By the way, love the pics.!
I wish you the best in your new life venture. You will be missed!
It is so good to hear your voice...so to speak. I have missed you. Congrats on your new job. Where is this apt? Jackson? Where ever you are I wish you nothing but the very best. I would love to keep in touch with you if you have time. You were the very first blogger I "talked" to and I have always treasured your friendship and counted on your level-headed opinions. Good luck my friend!
It's been nice knowing you through blogging. B
Best of luck to you in the future and new job.
Wishing you the best!....Funny where life takes us, I know you will do wonderful as a pre k teacher! Thanks for all you have contributed here in blog land!
Hi Tammy! I don't know whether to be happy or sad! I'm happy you got a teaching position, but I'm sad that you won't be blogging as much! Good luck with your new position! I know you'll be great!
God Bless and Good Luck. I know you will be fabulous at your new position. The children are lucky to have you as their teacher. Hugs, Marty
Wow, Tammy! How EXCITING for you, is my first thought! Congrats on the new job. I think I've been looking forward to working for awhile now...but I still have two more years. I just dabble in my antique shop here just to keep my mind busy.
Can't wait til you come back and don't worry, your bloggy pals will still be here. Enjoy your new endeavors!
Jillian
Congrats on the new job. You will have your hands very full. I hope you don't have to be in an apartment for long. I can't even imagine what it would be like to teach Pre-K. Hope you blog again soon.
Tammy, it's great to see a post from you ... even if it evokes mixed feelings. Of course, you'll be missed when you're not here, but I am so very thankful for God's provision for your family, and I know you will be an answer to prayer for some of your students' parents.
I think "living in the moment" is something we all have to learn -- and re-learn. I'm currently reading Ann Voskamp's One Thousand Gifts, and being thankful for now -- whatever it holds -- is the theme. If you haven't read it, I highly recommend it! May God richly bless your family as you begin this next leg of your journey. Come back when the timing's right. Of course, email anytime!
Tammy -- thank you for the update. Wishing you the best in your new endeavor and check back in when you can. Life is an adventure - embrace and enjoy yours :)
Blessings!
Gail
Tammy,
I've so missed your postings. I've said this before, our lives are so aligned with the ages of our kids and where we have been. I too like you thought in my 20s I would of had that white picket fence, hubby kids...it's not meant to be. Everything is temporary, and I'm so enjoying where GOD has me right now. Hope your all are having a great summer. Now to dream of when that great god fearing man will arrive on my door step.
Hugs, Viola
It sounds like you are looking at things in a positive way. Keep moving forward and please come back! I want to hear all about your new venture into the teaching world!
XO,
Jane
I saw a news report last night where people are living in apartments in NY that are the size of two parking spaces!
You can do it! lol
I hope you will be able to squeeze in an occasional post; perhaps at least quarterly?
Blessings and best wishes with the new position. I know pleasant surprises are ahead!
Hi Tammy, congrats on the new job. Wishing you the best!!!
Hugs~~~ Daphne
Congratulations on the new job!
I'll see ya later and give me a hollar when the dust settles ;)
It is nice to hear from you. (Always enjoy your pretty images!) Life brings us unexpected turns as you are experiencing. I guess a whole new life for you in many ways. Your creativity will serve you well in the classroom; I'd be happy as a parent to have you teach my child! Hope life surprises you with a very good year in spite of all the changes!
Will watch for a post every now and then I hope!
Wishing you all the best.
Congratulations on your new job! Changes can be a good thing and I'd like to wish you the best of luck in everything you do!
Tammy, wishing you all the best in your new job and your new home. I know you'll roll with the changes and make it all work. Be well and enjoy where you are at. You just never know what might be waiting for you along this new road.
I think you MUST do something like that with your class room. It's fabulous and would make you and the kiddos feel special in your new home away from home.
Be well.
Pam
I wish you all the best with your new 'home' and job! See you later. Blessings. Pamela
I will be in touch with you sweet friend as you start this next adventure in your life... I have every confidence that you will BLOOM (and thrive) where you are planted bringing a ray of sunshine to all who encounter you!!!

O, Bee...what a sweet and positive attitude you have. Your little people are lucky to be getting you for their teacher.
Take care, and come back soon.

I'm happy for you, dear girl, I have no doubt that it's God's will at this time. I'm sure you are a wonderful teacher, and will enjoy this next year very much.
I will miss you, if I keep blogging, I haven't posted but twice this last month and because I'm so busy with my grandkids, I haven't missed it a lot. But once I'm home again, I will have the time and will need the inspiration.
Love, hugs, 'and prayer, Cindy
Dear Tammy,
Seasons come and seasons go. May you find unexpected pleasures in this new season of life, and I will look forward to seeing you back, at some point, in blogland.

See you later!
Oh best wishes to you sweet friend and I wish you the best in your teaching endeavors.
Life just keeps moving fast, whether we blog or not, and you have to do what you have to do!
I have been pretty absent on my blog as well with just too much going on to sit by the computer the way I can during the colder months.
Here is a huge hug for you.
We will miss you and will think of you often.
Come back and visit when you get a chance now and then.

Hi Tammy,
Just checking in on you. I haven't blogged much this summer either. Trying to hang out with my kiddos as much as possible.
Congrats on your new job. I'm sure you will be fabulous at it!
Hope all is well with you. Take care :)
Tammy,
Congrats on your new job...I know you will make a GREAT teacher. My daughter taught pre-K for two years and LOVED it (she is now working on her masters degree). Hope you are liking Jackson, and hope you will check in and let us know how you are doing.
Blessings,
Linda
Best of luck to you and your husband. I had two babies while my husband was an intern and then resident for five years (and he entered medical school at 31). You will survive! I think its funny that we live in our big fancy home and talk wistfully about those awful early years. Nothing beats a shared goal and journey. Your marriage will be the better for it. I guarantee!
Wishing you wonderful times in your new job~ I'm sure you'll have some cute stories to bring home. I love the picket fence cottage too!, Sally xx
I just had to stop by and check in on you. So glad things are going well for you and your new adventure. You don't know how close to home your statement "live in the moment, life can change" hits. My husband was diagnosed with lung cancer mid July and lost the battle just 25 days later. To say we are shocked and numb is an understatement. Best of luck to you, hold that family close!
Dear Tammy,
I have been absent also but you can keep up with me on my South Shore Mommy Facebook page.
It looks like you're transforming your life.
The classroom looks amazing. You will be a wonderful teacher. The kids will be so fortunate to have a kind and gentle teacher (with a lot of imagination which is also very important).
Miss you dear friend! :)
Hi lovely to meet you and found you off of Natasha in Oz Pinterest. Coincidentally, I recently just did a little yellow houses /picket fence post you might enjoy. So I will post a link, but I don't usually do that. You have a beautiful blog.

How are you feeling now, my lovely? You've been away a long time now. Are you adjusting to all the new changes and the upheaval?
I hope it's all going swimmingly!

We'll keep the light on.
Hello Tammy, I haven't been by in a while and it sounds like your life has gone through many new and exciting changes.
God will guide you through it all. Stay prayerful.

You realize thus considerably when it comes to this matter, made me personally believe it from so many varied angles. Its like women and men don’t seem to be involved until it is something to accomplish with Girl gaga! Your own stuffs outstanding. Always care for it up!

i too am downsizing and renting a condo while we think about where to live next... i'm actually enjoying the 'editing' of possessions that comes with this phase. I bet your move and new job will be one of those life shifts that end up reviving your creativity!
Wonderful paintings! That is the kind of information that should be shared across the net. Disgrace on the seek engines for no longer positioning this publish higher! Come on over and visit my web site . Thanks =)

I do hope that everything is fine with you. I really miss your lovely posts. God bless, Connie :)
I like that you said, "temporary really is a way of life." And "Live in the moment..."
Perfect and something we all should think about.
Still leaving the light on. Happy Thanksgiving!
I'm so happy for you that you got a job. Hopefully this will help things turn around financially for your family.
