Blog button: n.  a graphic online icon.
To copy this button, take the html on my right sidebar.

After hearing much feedback about the word verification device, and the apparent disdain of it by many, Penny Lane Designs has helped me create a new "button."  If you do not know what word verification is or how to remove it, read about it here, here or here.  We are not advocating lack of security. Research security measures and decide for yourself.  For those of us who like to comment a lot, word verification is a pain.  Some bloggers will not even comment if they must go through the deciphering process.  And believe me, it is a process. One mistake and it's back to the box with letters harder to decipher.

Help spread the word by identifying  your blog as a "word verification free blog."  It's a courtesy to those who take time to comment on your posts.

The button is yours for the taking.  You'll find it on my right sidebar.
Happy Blogging!

I'll put it on mine but I usually go through the process on others because I took the time to read them and want to comment. I guess I just have too much time on my hands...lol...

Hello Sweet B,
All of these buttons are just beautiful. I love buttons and have been trying to decide what to do with a couple of big tins of them. You showed some great craft projects.
These images are great! They certainly dress up furniture don't they.
Thanks for the new "button". I may just borrow that for my blog, thanks so much!

What brilliant photographs - I just love them. I need to get my own collection out and take some pix, so I can dazzle everyone too. I love your final button - word verification is the bane of my life! And so unnecessary when comments are moderated.

Big hug and a Happy Pink Saturday from the UK!

What a creative button post.....I'm a lover of vintage buttons, too!

I thought the word verification was to help cut down on spam comments sent out of big companies. It doesn't bother me to take a few moments to verify the word on someone's comment section. I guess that's something that is not a big deal to me.

Happy Pink Saturday!

I don't know which picture I would pick if I had to pick one as my favorite! Love all the buttons. I look at buttons as jewelry for your clothing, pillows, you name it. Those pictures take buttons to a whole new level! I will tell you one thing, the comment on the word verification thing had me go right to my blog, and take it out. A very big thank you! I'm new to this, and didn't even realize I had mine on. Oops!

Oh, how I adore buttons! You have an amazing display of them. I was fortunate enough today to stop by the thrift store, just in time to score about 40 Art Deco style buttons. They're better than chocolate! Have a great weekend!

I have a huge button collection--some I've purchased and some from the wonderful ladies in my family who've gone before me. I have no idea what I will ever do with them but I love them.

I'm going to try and figure out how to grab that button!!

Have a wonderful weekend.

What a fantastic post! I love me some buttons! The word verification IS annoying. I took mine off a long time ago. The most annoying is when you're trying to type letters in and the blog is skipping around on you.
Have a great weekend and thanks for sharing your buttons!

AMEN!!!!! I despised the system so much I removed it from my blogs over a month ago. I am 72. At night when I am trying to write comments before going to bed, my eyes are tired and I am always typing in the wrong letters. Sometimes it takes 3 or even 4 or 5 tries to post my thoughts.I love your button and will put in on both of my sites. Thanks. Now, to your buttons. I adore buttons, and this post thrills my inner child. Are these all of your buttons? If so, you are so clever and creative with your storage techniques and the ways you use them. The napkin holders are out of this world. Happy PS.

As you know I have not been blogging long and someone told me about the issues of the blog verification within the first week. So I took it off and although I don't have a ton of followers, I have had no issues yet. Sooooo, I'll be glad to take the button:-)

Happy Pink Saturday

Loved your button post and even filed away an idea for the wedding! Thank you and I am tickled pink you are spreading the word about "word verification". So many people don't realize you can do away with it and just have approval instead which is necessary to avoid spam. I have gone to some blogs where I have to fill out a form and then on top of that they have word verification too....uh uh! HPS xoxo

Thank you for the button. I have posted about this subject a few times. I have never had word verification and could count on one hand how many times I have had to delete a comment.
I get emails on every comment so I can spot if someone has left spam on any post be it a new one or an old one.

Oh how I love buttons- especially vintage ones!

I love these pictures, Tammy, especially the very first and that gorgeous chair. I couldn't resist clicking on your word verification free button and I cannot agree more. It is a pain, especially when it freezes up your computer. If bloggers want to protect from spam, all they need to do is moderate their comments. What really gets to me is when they choose both moderating AND the word verification. Oh my! With time, I let even the moderating go. Simplicity, simplicity, simplicity!!

Took both your buttons and on to see what your third one is all about. ;)
Blessings!

Nice to see someone doing something like this. I find word verification really annoying. Especially when they use it on top of other comment moderation.

Word Grrls

Now if only Blogger would get on the ball and just let people type in their name and link rather than having to link through their Google account.
